Job Title: Clamp Forklift Operator
Location: Pooler, GA (On-site)
Payrate: $18.00-$18.50
Shift Options:
1st Shift: Monday - Friday | 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM
2nd Shift: Monday - Friday | 4:30 PM - 1:00 AM
Job Summary:
We are hiring experienced Clamp Operators to join our team in Pooler, GA. In this role, you will be responsible for safely transporting, stacking, and staging merchandise throughout the warehouse using specialized clamp truck equipment in a fast-paced distribution center.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely operate clamp equipment to locate, transport, and relocate materials within assigned warehouse areas.
Perform daily pre-operation equipment inspections and report any maintenance or safety concerns promptly.
Stack, stage, and store inventory accurately according to warehouse site procedures.
Maintain high safety standards and follow all facility OSHA guidelines.
Qualifications:
Must have prior experience operating a clamp truck/forklift attachment.
Skills Evaluation Required: All candidates must pass an on-site driving and skills evaluation prior to equipment authorization.
Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume warehouse environment.
Strong awareness of workplace safety and attention to detail.
Warehouse Dress Code & General Requirements
- Closed-toe shoes are required. Safety shoes or work shoes should be worn where required by the site.
- Wear clean, work-appropriate clothing suitable for a warehouse environment. Clothing must allow safe movement and must not create a snagging hazard.
- No loose or excessively baggy clothing, open-toe shoes, sandals, slippers, or high heels.
- Long hair should be secured when working near machinery or material-handling equipment.
- Required personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety vests or other site-issued equipment, must be worn as directed.
- Clothing or accessories with offensive, unsafe, or inappropriate wording or graphics are not permitted.
- Employees must follow all site safety, security, attendance, and conduct rules while on assignment.
