Student Insurance Advocate oversees and provides administrative leadership for the student health insurance plan (SHIP) offered to Miami University students through United Health Care Student Resources (UHCSR). This position is responsible for the operations related to the Miami University SHIP and will be a key member of a multi-disciplinary team committed to the holistic well-being of all Miami students. The Advocate serves as the key contact, liaison, factfinder, problem-solver, and advocate for students insured by UHCSR should issues or needs arise pertaining to the SHIP.
