The Master Plumber is responsible for overseeing plumbing installations, maintenance, and repairs, ensuring all work complies with local codes and regulations. This role requires expertise in planning, supervising plumbing projects, and mentoring junior plumbers to deliver high-quality and safe plumbing systems.
Responsibilities
- Plan, install, and maintain plumbing systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings
- Ensure plumbing work adheres to all building codes and safety regulations
- Supervise and train junior plumbers and apprentices
- Inspect plumbing systems for leaks, malfunctions, and compliance issues
- Consult with contractors, architects, and clients on plumbing system designs
- Prepare cost estimates and material lists for plumbing projects
- Manage schedules and coordinate plumbing work with other trades
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working order
