CCS Construction Staffing is actively hiring Laborers for commercial concrete/formwork construction in Venice, FL 34293.
Openings: 2 Laborers
REQUIREMENTS FOR ALL POSITIONS
- Must complete ladder and fall protection safety (CCS will provide).
- Responsive through the hiring process
- Shows up to the job every day, on time
- Has the required tools for the position
- Steady work history - candidates with a record of staying on jobs are preferred
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus, as much of the crew is Spanish-speaking
LABORER - What's Expected
General expectations
- On time every day, does not miss work
- Follows all safety directions, PPE requirements and training
- Good attitude, easy to get along with, follows direction
- Works consistently and stays on assigned tasks
- Takes care of company equipment
- Can safely operate a scissor lift
Basic tasks
- Chip and grind concrete
- Install X-plugs and patch tie holes
- Sweep, stack and clean materials
- Drive stakes for formwork
Required tools: hammer, 25' tape measure, razor knife, tool belt, chalk box, speed square
