Frank Gillitzer Electric Company is seeking an experienced electrician to join our dynamic team. We work on a variety of residential, commercial and industrial projects--no two days are the same!
Qualifications of the Ideal Candidate
- Five to ten years of electrical experience
- Have a valid driver's license--must be approved by the company's insurance carrier to be able drive a company vehicle
- Able to interpret/analyze blueprints and wiring diagrams, utilizing this information on the jobsite
- Ensures compliance with the National Electrical Code and safety standards at all times and on all jobsites
- Proficient in the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of electrical systems
- Able to communicate effectively with team members, customers, and contractors
- Demonstrates excellent problem-solving skills and utilizes effective time management skills to meet project deadlines
- Willing to mentor, train and supervise helpers and apprentices
- Maintains accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on each job each day
Schedule
Monday-Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. Paid overtime may be required. Will be required to be on call, for one week, Monday-Sunday every 7th week.
Physical Requirements
- Able to lift 75 pounds
- Able to climb ladders, work on roofs, work from boom truck or scissor lift
- Work may necessitate climbing in attics or small spaces
- Work may necessitate trenching or digging
- Work may require you to work outside in inclement weather
