About the Role

The Company is seeking a Head of Product Engineering to play a pivotal role in the transformation of the electric grid. This senior leadership position is not about managing existing products but about establishing the technical foundation of the organization and leading the design and manufacturing of large power transformers. The successful candidate will be responsible for the complete electrical and mechanical design of transformers, ensuring that every aspect of the product, from core and winding design to thermal management and overall optimization, is under their leadership. Equally important is the design of products that can be manufactured efficiently, with a focus on translating engineering requirements into scalable manufacturing processes that leverage advanced automation and digital technologies. As the Head of Product Engineering, you will be at the forefront of bridging traditional transformer engineering with modern digital technologies. This includes working with executive leadership and software development teams to build a proprietary design platform and implementing advanced engineering tools for digital modeling, simulation, and validation. The role also involves building and leading the engineering organization, recruiting top talent, and fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
