About this position

Bark Barbecue is seeking experienced bartenders to join the team at our wine bar, located within our new 8,700 sq. ft. flagship destination in the heart of North Brooklyn (East Williamsburg/Bushwick).

Our wine bar features a curated wine program and a beverage menu focused on pushing the boundaries of mixology through wine-based cocktails, thoughtful ingredients, refined presentation, and exceptional hospitality.

Position: Bartender

Bartenders play a critical role in delivering exceptional hospitality while preparing beverages with precision, consistency, and attention to detail.

Ideal Candidates

• Previous bartending experience required
• Strong knowledge of classic cocktails and cocktail techniques
• Wine knowledge and wine service experience preferred
• Experience preparing garnishes, syrups, infusions, and cocktail mise en place
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to consistency
• Appreciation for presentation and guest experience
• Comfortable working in a high-volume environment
• Reliable and punctual
• Hospitality-driven with strong communication skills
