What You’ll Do
- Rough-Ins & Top-Outs: Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and building codes to lay out and install DWV (Drain, Waste, and Vent) systems, water distribution lines, and gas piping for new construction projects.
- Trim-Outs: Install and connect fixtures, including sinks, toilets, showers, water heaters, backflow preventers, and commercial equipment.
- Testing & Inspection: Perform hydrostatic pressure tests and leak inspections to ensure all plumbing systems meet local Palm Beach building codes and safety regulations before final inspection.
- Collaboration: Coordinate work seamlessly with general contractors, project managers, and other trades on active job sites.
- Site Safety: Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workspace adhering to OSHA standards at all times.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience: Minimum of 3+ years of hands-on plumbing experience in new construction (residential, commercial, or both).
- Technical Skills: Deep understanding of Florida Plumbing Codes, pipe materials (PVC, CPVC, PEX, Copper, Cast Iron), and layout techniques.
- Tools of the Trade: Must have your own standard hand and power tools for construction plumbing.
- Clean Record: Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record and reliable transportation to job sites across Palm Beach.
- Work Ethic: Strong problem-solving skills, physical stamina, and a self-starter attitude with minimal supervision required.
