SUMMARY

Do you enjoy working outdoors, having three-day weekends, and earning great pay with benefits? Outdoor Lighting Perspectives of Northern Ohio has career positions for outdoor lighting installers to install low-voltage residential lighting systems. No electrical experience is needed. Training is provided. Health, vision, dental, and retirement benefits are also provided.  Full-time, four-day workweeks, overtime, and commission opportunities available.   

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Assembling lights and mounting them in prescribed locations
  • Speaking with the customer to upsell other products
  • Provide customers with system orientation as applicable
  • Proper care and operation of company vehicles
  • Ensuring there are proper inventory levels
  • Running and burying low-voltage wiring in landscape areas and lawns
  • Mounting transformers and connecting wire runs
  • Clean up of all areas affected by the installation
  • Providing direction and/or assistance to other installers when applicable
  • Speaking with clients to inform and educate them about additional products and services available

 

ESSENTIAL SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES

  • Has a driver's license with a clean driving record (no moving violations or accidents in the last three years)
  • Makes a good first impression by being well-groomed, articulate, personable, and comfortable with meeting new people
  • Enjoys interacting with customers with respect and integrity
  • Above-average technical ability
  • Attention to detail and respect for our customers' property
  • Systematic in their approach
  • Proactive, problem solver
  • Strong sense of pride and integrity in work product

 

EDUCATION, TRAINING, EXPERIENCE 

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Ideal candidates should have varied technical and computer experience.
