Physical Therapist Assistant (Chico)

Coast Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine is looking for a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to join our outpatient orthopedic team in Chico.

We have an immediate need for additional coverage due to an upcoming maternity leave. While we would ideally like to add the right person to our team on a full-time, permanent basis, we are also open to a PTA who is interested in temporary coverage, part-time work, or simply adding additional hours to their current schedule.

Coast Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine is an established, locally owned outpatient physical therapy practice that has served the Chico community for nearly 30 years.

We are a therapist-owned private practice with a strong reputation for personalized, evidence-based care. Our team treats a broad orthopedic and sports medicine population, including post-operative rehabilitation, sports injuries, spine and extremity conditions, balance and mobility problems, and patients working to return to an active lifestyle.

What the Position Looks Like

Our PTAs work closely with our physical therapists to provide one-on-one treatment within an established plan of care.

We are looking for someone who is:

* A licensed Physical Therapist Assistant in California, or eligible for California licensure

* Personable, dependable and professional

* Comfortable treating a diverse outpatient orthopedic population

* A strong communicator and team member

* Focused on providing excellent patient care

* Interested in being part of a positive, collaborative clinic environment

Schedule & Employment Options

We have flexibility depending on the right candidate.

Full-time is preferred, but we are also interested in talking with PTAs who may be looking for:

* Part-time hours

* Temporary maternity-leave coverage

* Additional hours alongside another position

* A temporary position that could develop into permanent employment
