When disaster strikes a home or business, people don’t call a logo—they call experts they can trust. At Dry Fast of Lexington, we are a growing, locally owned, and family-operated restoration team. We believe in treating our crew like the family you choose.
Unlike corporate chains where you get lost in the shuffle, at Dry Fast of Lexington your hard work is seen, respected, and rewarded. We provide stable weekly pay, structured on-call schedules so you can actually plan your life, and the paid training you need to turn manual labor skills into a lifelong, high-earning trade.
If you have a strong work ethic, take pride in working with your hands, and want to help local families get their lives back after unexpected floods and water disasters, you belong here.

- Consistent Pay You Can Count On: Guaranteed minimum of 30 hours per week, with frequent opportunities to work up to 50–60 hours per week during peak restoration periods and weather events.
- Paid Weekly: Reliable, on-time weekly direct deposits.
- Comprehensive Health Benefits: Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance coverage after 6 months.
- Structured Work-Life Rhythm: Predictable on-call rotation (2 weeks on-call per month, 2 weeks off-call)—giving you high overtime earning potential when on-call, and downtime when you're off.
- Career Growth & Certifications: 100% company-paid, on-the-job training. We teach you structural drying science, psychrometrics, and industry safety protocols.
- Top-Grade Gear: All safety equipment, PPE, and specialized restoration tools provided.

As a Water Restoration Technician, you are the frontline hero on emergency residential and commercial loss sites:
- Emergency Response: Promptly respond to dispatched emergency water, flood, and mold damage incidents throughout Lexington and surrounding Central Kentucky communities.
- Extraction & Structural Drying: Operate commercial extraction equipment, deploy industrial air movers and LGR dehumidifiers, and monitor atmospheric/surface moisture levels.
- Controlled Demolition: Perform clean flood cuts, remove waterlogged drywall, trim, insulation, and damaged flooring to prepare structures for drying.
- Moisture Mapping & Documentation: Use moisture meters, thermal cameras, and digital job logs to record dry-down progress and support insurance claims.
- Containment & Remediation: Set up containment barriers, negative air HEPA scrubbers, and safely execute mold remediation and antimicrobial sanitization following strict safety procedures.
- Customer Communication: Reassure distressed homeowners with empathy, professionalism, and clear explanations of the mitigation process.
- Equipment Care: Keep service vehicles, tools, and warehouse equipment clean, inspected, and emergency-ready.
Who We’re Looking For
This role is demanding, hands-on, and deeply rewarding. We are looking for candidates with:
- The Right Mindset: High dependability, integrity, and a willingness to step up when emergency calls come in.
- Experience: Background in restoration, property maintenance, construction, plumbing, carpentry, demolition, or general manual labor is a strong plus (we will train the right attitude).
- Schedule Availability: Able to participate in our rotating on-call schedule (2 weeks per month) and work overtime/after-hours dispatches as needed to take care of our customers.
- Physical Capability: Ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly, work on your feet, navigate ladders, and maneuver in tight, damp spaces like crawlspaces and attics.
- Clean Driving Record: Valid driver’s license with a clean, insurable motor vehicle record.
- Communication Skills: Professional attitude and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a tight-knit field team.
