The Data Center Technician plays a crucial role in maintaining the physical and operational integrity of data center facilities. This role involves installing, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment to ensure optimal data center performance and uptime.
Responsibilities
- Monitor data center equipment and environmental conditions
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on hardware
- Assist with the installation and configuration of servers and network devices
- Manage cable organization and labeling throughout the facility
- Collaborate with IT teams to resolve hardware and infrastructure issues
- Ensure compliance with safety and security protocols
- Document technical procedures and system configurations
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years in data center operations
