VIP Workforce is seeking experienced MIG/TIG Welders for a metal manufacturer located in Statesville, NC. The role involves working primarily on custom metal work and production line fabrication. Candidates should be prepared to demonstrate their welding skills in a test during the interview process. This position offers a great schedule, Monday through Friday with occasional Saturdays, from 8am to 4:30pm.
Responsibilities
- Perform MIG welding on custom and production line metal projects
- Perform TIG welding according to project specifications
- Participate in metal fabrication tasks
- Maintain welding equipment and ensure safety standards
- Adhere to quality inspection procedures
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of welding experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency in MIG welding
- Proficiency in TIG welding
- Knowledge of welding safety practices
- Experience with welding inspection
- Strong hand-eye coordination
- High attention to detail
