Production Assembler

We are seeking Production Assemblers for our 1st Shift team in Orlando, FL. This role requires high precision, steady hand-eye coordination, and attention to detail as you work with micro-components using microscopes, bake ovens, ultrasonic cleaners, and specialized hand tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Production Assembler I (Entry-Level):
• • Read, interpret, and precisely follow written Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP / STEP-C).
  • Perform fine-motor manual assembly: component mounting, curing, microscope inspections, and hand cleaning.
  • Load, monitor, and operate automated equipment.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.
• Production Assembler II (Intermediate):
• • Perform all Level I functions with full self-sufficiency in your main work area.
  • Assist with preparing and staging work for Level I team members.
  • Collaborate with Process Engineering to suggest process improvements, increase throughput, and boost yields.
• Production Assembler III (Lead / Advanced):
• • Serve as the resident subject matter expert in designated production areas (e.g., crystal etch, MRW etch, baseplate).
  • Mentor, cross-train, and onboard team members across departments.
  • Partner with engineering and management on equipment installation, maintenance, testing, and process experiments.

Position Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience:
• • Level I:Entry-level; little to no prior manufacturing experience required.
  • Level II:2+ years of operator-level manufacturing experience required.
  • Level III:5+ years of precision assembly/manufacturing experience with proven mastery and mentoring capability.
• Technical & Fine Motor Skills:
• • Exceptional hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity for working with micro-components under a microscope for extended periods.
  • Strong English reading, writing, and verbal communication skills to follow detailed technical procedures.
• Compliance & Legal:
• • ITAR Compliance:Must be eligible to work with ITAR-controlled data without a special license.
• Physical & Environmental Requirements:
• • Ability to sit or stand for long periods.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs.
  • Willingness and ability to wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Work comfortably in a manufacturing facility with exposure to chemicals, fumes, and related by-products.
