Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team. In this position, you will interpret blueprints and drawings to accurately weld chain components, assemble chains for large conveyors, and operate milling machines, saws, and other equipment. The ideal candidate is a hard worker with great attention to detail, proven experience as a Welder, and the willingness and ability to learn and operate all equipment in the shop.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and schematics
- Plan layout and measurements of chain components
- Interpret requirements to select the most appropriate welding equipment for the job
- Operate angle grinders, calipers, rulers, and other hand and power tools
- Use manual and semi-automatic welding equipment
- Operate saw, milling unit, bending unit, load/unload robot
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Welder
- Professional Certification (AWS welding certificate) is preferred
- Experience with a variety of welding equipment and tools
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and other technical documents and drawings
- Understanding of all health and safety guidelines
- Attention to detail
- Great attitude
