We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide primary care services to adult and family medicine patients in an outpatient clinic. Reporting to a physician, this role practices primarily independently within a physician-directed care model and delivers comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and patient education.
Responsibilities
- Assess adult and family medicine patients
- Diagnose patient conditions
- Develop individualized treatment plans
- Manage medications
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation
- Educate patients about their conditions and care plans
Required Qualifications
- Active Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license
- National board certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in advanced practice nursing or physician assistant practice
- Clinical assessment and differential diagnosis skills
- Treatment planning and medication management experience
- Electronic health records experience
- Patient education experience
- Strong clinical judgment
- Experience with interprofessional collaboration
