We are seeking an experienced Welder for a reputable business in Rankin County. This role works independently with project leads to complete quality welds, assemble joints, operate equipment, and maintain a safe, efficient work environment. This is a fulltime permanent position.
Responsibilities
- Perform metal fabrication for custom projects.
- Prepare materials and joints for welding.
- Operate welding and fabrication equipment.
- Inspect welds and perform quality control checks.
- Handle materials and assemble joints.
- Follow safety requirements and maintain equipment.
- Work independently while coordinating with project leads.
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years of on-the-job welding experience. No certification needed
- Ability to read a tape measure
- Ability of being on feet throughout the day
- Able to lift 50lbs
