Location: Double Knot – 2550 NW 2nd Ave, Miami, FL 33127 Reports to: Manager, Assistant Manager, General Manager Classification: Hourly, Non‑Exempt, Part‑Time

The Server Assistant plays a key role in supporting the service team and ensuring guests have a seamless, elevated dining experience. This position is responsible for maintaining table cleanliness, running food, assisting servers during busy periods, and anticipating guest needs throughout service. The Server Assistant must work collaboratively with both FOH and BOH teams to uphold Schulson Collective’s high standards of hospitality and efficiency.

• Ensure tables are properly set, cleared, and reset quickly and accurately.

• Assist servers by refilling water, delivering condiments, and anticipating guest needs.

• Maintain awareness of the dining room to support smooth guest flow and timely service.

• Run food from the kitchen to guests with accuracy and attention to detail.

• Communicate clearly with servers and kitchen staff to ensure correct dish placement and special requests.

• Support servers by delivering beverages, clearing plates, and assisting with service steps as needed.

• Work closely with servers, bartenders, hosts, and management to maintain efficient service.

• Assist during peak periods to ensure the team meets guest expectations.

• Participate in team meetings and training sessions as required.

• Maintain cleanliness of service stations, dining areas, and assigned sections.

• Follow all sanitation, food handling, and safety procedures.

• Ensure compliance with restaurant policies and health regulations.

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting preferred.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple tasks.

• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a commitment to excellent service.

• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

• Team‑oriented mindset with a willingness to help wherever needed.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to stay organized under pressure.

• Passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences.

• Reliable, punctual, and professional.
