Sin & Tonic is a new concept from The Fifty/50 Group, opening in Chicago's Andersonville neighborhood. Anchored by a 30-seat bar and designed around a Victorian tavern aesthetic, Sin & Tonic will focus on high-technique craft cocktails paired with an equal number of zero-proof "tonics".
We are focused on technical precision, classic cocktail philosophy, and the honor of Hospitality. We are looking for disciplined individuals who love the craft, love people, and are ready to help us create a special "neighborhood cocktail bar". We are looking for people who are ready to immerse themselves in the craft of bartending and immerse themselves in our culture.
While this is a high-technique cocktail bar, we value discipline, reliability, and leadership over ego or mixology pedigree. There is no hierarchy when it comes to maintaining our atmosphere. This will be a small, tightly knit team and every bartender, regardless of seniority or talent, will share all tasks equally. From cleaning, polishing, creativity, and preparation - this bar will be built and run together as a team.
At this establishment, there will be a strict zero-drinking policy while on shift. Candidates must take pride in running a clean, focused, professional room every single night.
