ASME WELDER
Monday - Thursday
3:30 PM - 2:00 AM
$24.00 per hour
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Perform MIG welding (primarily pulse MIG) on a variety of metal components
- Utilize Flux Core welding techniques as needed
- Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and technical drawings
- Measure and cut materials accurately using tape measures and other tools
- Fabricate and assemble parts according to specifications and quality standards
- Inspect completed welds to ensure structural integrity and accuracy
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures at all times
- Prepare materials by cutting, grinding, fitting, cleaning, and tacking
- Set up and troubleshoot welding equipment and fixtures
- Work with carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum materials
- Maintain production flow and complete required documentation
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- 2 years welding/fabrication experience
- Proficiency in MIG welding (pulse MIG preferred) and Flux Core
- TIG welding experience is a plus, but not required
- Ability to read blueprints, weld symbols, and use measuring devices accurately
- Strong basic math skills, including fractions and decimal conversions
- Must pass a weld test and interview process
- Must provide own welding hood, gloves, and steel-toe safety shoes
- High School Diploma or GED preferred (relevant experience considered in place of education)
- AWS certification preferred but not required
