HOST

Role Summary

The Host is often the first point of contact for our guests and plays an important role in setting the tone for their experience. We are looking for friendly, attentive, and organized individuals who enjoy working with people and understand the importance of making every guest feel genuinely welcome.

What You'll Do

Welcome Guests

• Greet and welcome guests with warmth, professionalism, and genuine hospitality.
• Assist with reservations, waitlists, and seating arrangements.
• Communicate wait times clearly and accommodate guest requests whenever possible.
• Answer phone calls and assist with general guest inquiries.

Service Coordination

• Communicate with the Maitre D’ / Lead Host and service team regarding table availability and seating flow.
• Coordinate with servers to ensure guests are seated appropriately and tables are ready.
• Keep reservation details and guest notes accurate and up to date.

Host Station & Readiness

• Maintain a clean, organized, and presentable host area.
• Keep menus and guest-facing materials organized and ready for service.
• Follow established opening, closing, and sidework procedures.

Skills & Competencies

• Warm, professional communication and strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask, stay organized, and remain composed during busy service.
• Comfortable learning reservation platforms and basic POS functions.
• Reliable, punctual, and attentive to detail.

Qualifications

• Previous hospitality experience preferred, Resy/Sevenrooms knowledge is a plus
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Schedule & Availability

• Hourly position; schedule based on business needs.
