About the Role
The Company is seeking a Senior Associate Dean for Research to provide visionary leadership in the growth of the School of Nursing's research and scholarship programs. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining an active, externally funded research program as a principal investigator and will also direct the Postdoctoral Fellowship Program and the Center for Research Development and Scholarship. This role demands a leader with demonstrated abilities in collaboration, decision-making, and a strong commitment to fostering a culture of inquiry and innovation. The Senior Associate Dean will be expected to have a strong administrative background, good financial acumen, and the ability to maintain collaborative relationships both within the institution and with external entities. Applicants for the Senior Associate Dean for Research position at the company should hold an earned doctorate in nursing or a related field, be eligible for RN licensure in Tennessee, and have a rank of Full Professor or be Tenurable at Full Professor.
