Skilled Shop Welder

Pay: $24.00–$28.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday with OT opportunities

Power Labor USA is seeking an experienced Shop Welder for a long-term opportunity with an established and growing fabrication team in Liberty, MO.

Responsibilities
- Perform MIG welding on a variety of metal components and assemblies.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and fabrication specifications.
- Measure, cut, fit, and assemble materials to precise tolerances.
- Inspect completed welds to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Operate welding and fabrication equipment safely and efficiently.
- Assist with grinding, finishing, and other metal fabrication processes.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of welding experience in a shop or fabrication environment.
- Strong MIG welding experience required.
- TIG welding or experience with additional welding processes preferred.
- Good math skills and the ability to perform accurate measurements and calculations.
- Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Basic computer skills.
- Knowledge of metal finishing processes and fabrication techniques.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Education
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Technical or vocational training in welding, fabrication, or a related field highly preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds.
- Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the workday.
- Ability to safely maneuver materials, tools, and equipment.
- Comfortable working in an active fabrication shop environment.
