About this position

Position Summary

The Delivery Driver & Inventory Associate is based at Loveski’s Napa location and is responsible for the safe and timely delivery of products and supplies to the other Loveski locations and our wholesale accounts throughout Napa Valley, Marin County, and San Francisco. The position also supports day-to-day inventory operations, including receiving and organizing incoming goods, maintaining inventory records, preparing and processing shipments for distribution, and coordinating delivery-related communications.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate Loveski’s cargo sprinter van to complete scheduled deliveries and pickups throughout Napa Valley, Marin County, San Francisco, and other assigned locations if applicable.
  • Load and unload products, supplies, and other goods safely and efficiently.
  • Verify delivery orders and ensure the correct products and quantities are delivered to each location.
  • Maintain accurate delivery, inventory, receiving, and shipment records.
  • Manage inventory records and assist with tracking product quantities and movement.
  • Receive incoming goods and verify shipments for accuracy and condition.
  • Organize, arrange, rotate, and store incoming products and supplies in designated areas.
  • Prepare, pack, label and process orders and shipments for distribution.
  • Assist with inventory counts and identify discrepancies, shortages, or damaged goods.
  • Communicate with wholesale accounts, restaurant locations, vendors, and internal team members regarding deliveries, pickups, inventory, or scheduling as needed.
  • Monitor and respond to work-related emails and other communications in a timely and professional manner.
  • Follow established delivery routes and schedules while communicating delays or delivery issues promptly.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle and promptly report maintenance, safety, or mechanical concerns.
  • Conduct basic pre- and post-trip checks of the vehicle and promptly report damage or safety concerns.
  • Follow all traffic laws and Company safety procedures while operating the vehicle.
  • Handle products and Loveski property carefully to minimize loss, damage, or spoilage.
  • Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with wholesale customers, restaurant teams, vendors, and the public.

 

 

  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications & Skills

  • Valid California Class C driver’s license; no commercial driver’s license (CDL) required.
  • Driving record that meets Loveski and applicable insurance requirements.
  • Ability to safely and confidently operate a cargo van in city, highway, and local delivery environments.
  • Prior delivery, warehouse, inventory, receiving, restaurant, or similar experience preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to maintain accurate inventory and delivery records.
  • Basic computer and email proficiency.
  • Ability to communicate professionally and effectively by email, phone, and in person.
  • Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently with limited supervision.
  • Ability to manage multiple deliveries, priorities, and deadlines.
  • Familiarity with Napa Valley, Marin County, and San Francisco is a plus.
  • Ability to work the scheduled days and hours required for assigned delivery routes, which may vary based on business and delivery needs.
  • Ability and willingness to regularly travel throughout Napa Valley, Marin County, and San Francisco as an essential function of the position.
  • Ability to safely handle and transport restaurant products, supplies, and equipment.

 

Physical Requirements

The physical requirements described below are representative of those necessary to perform the essential functions of this position, with or without reasonable accommodation.

  • Ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods while operating a motor vehicle.
  • Ability to frequently enter and exit a cargo van throughout the workday.
  • Ability to traverse restaurant, storage, loading, and delivery areas, including areas with uneven surfaces, curbs, or stairs.
  • Ability to move, position, load, unload, organize, and retrieve products, packages, and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to move and maneuver products and supplies using carts, dollies, or other material-handling equipment when available.
  • Ability to safely operate a motor vehicle and transport products between delivery locations.
  • Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information with employees, customers, vendors, and other business contacts.

 

 

 

 

  • Ability to observe and assess surroundings, traffic conditions, delivery information, and potential safety hazards necessary to safely perform the essential functions of the position.
  • Ability to perform work in indoor and outdoor environments and in varying temperatures and weather conditions associated with deliveries.
