Position Summary

The Electrician Foreman provides leadership and technical expertise for a three- to six-person installation crew. This role oversees day-to-day field operations, promotes safe work practices, maintains quality standards, supports customer service, and helps ensure residential and small commercial projects are completed successfully and efficiently.  

Responsibilities:

  • Lead, organize, and train installation crew members to support safe and efficient job completion.  
  • Manage daily construction workflows, including task coordination, site readiness, and project progress.  
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and communicate updates as needed.  
  • Promote a positive team environment and collaborate effectively with branch and field personnel.  
  • Identify and help resolve crew or jobsite issues, recommending practical solutions when needed.  
  • Maintain professional customer communication throughout the installation process.  
  • Provide clear feedback and status updates to management.  
  • Perform service calls or corrective work when required.
  • Serve as acting supervisor or manager when leadership coverage is needed.  

Requirements: 

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.  
  • Minimum of two years of construction experience, including at least one year of solar installation experience.  
  • Experience performing electrical work with wires up to 600 VDC and 480 VAC.  
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.  
  • State electrical certification or license preferred.  
  • Ability to perform installer and lead installer responsibilities as needed.  
  • Knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and applicable industry codes and standards.  
  • Understanding applicable OSHA safety standards.  
  • Current CPR and first aid certifications are preferred.  
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word.  
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and construction-related skills.  
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team leadership skills.  
  • Ability to travel up to 5% as required.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to transport materials and equipment to complete assigned job tasks (up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds with assistance)  
  • Ability to work on rooftops with various angles and surfaces which require frequent bending, twisting, squatting, climbing, kneeling, crawling, turning, standing, and balance.
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Ability to distinguish colors such as red, black, yellow, white, green  

Schedule 

  • Monday – Friday  

Compensation

  • $64,480.00 - $110,240.00 annually, based on experience
