MPS is now hiring MIG/TIG Welders to support fabrication shops, manufacturing plants, and repair facilities in a well-known company in East L.A.
This role will weld mixed metals across small assemblies, structural components, production parts, and custom fabrications while working independently and collaboratively with small welding and cross-functional production teams.

Details:
- Location: East L.A
- Full-time
- 1st shift- 7:00am-3:30pm
- Pay $23hourly with lots of OT and weekends
Responsibilities
- Perform MIG and TIG welding on mixed-metal components and assemblies.
- Read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols.
- Prepare joints and set up welding equipment for production and custom work.
- Handle materials and weld small assemblies, structural components, production parts, and custom fabrications.
- Inspect welds and perform dimensional measurements to verify conformance.
- Support quality control processes and maintain attention to detail throughout fabrication.
- Work independently and collaborate with welding and cross-functional production teams.
- Follow safety compliance requirements in fabrication, manufacturing, and repair environments.
Required Qualifications
- At least 1 year of MIG/TIG welding experience.
- Proficiency in MIG welding and TIG welding.
- Knowledge of GMAW and GTAW processes.
- Ability to read blueprints and interpret welding symbols.
- Experience with weld inspection and precision measurement.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality control.
- Must pass Welding Test on site*****
