Server Assistant — Cotogna
San Francisco, CA

Cotogna is seeking a Server Assistant who brings warmth, attention to detail, and a strong sense of teamwork to our dining room.

Located in San Francisco’s historic Jackson Square, Cotogna celebrates rustic Italian cuisine and welcoming hospitality. Our Server Assistants play an essential role in creating a seamless guest experience, supporting the service team and keeping the dining room running smoothly.

The Role

  • Support servers with attentive, efficient service throughout each shift.

  • Clear, clean, and reset tables with care and precision.

  • Maintain water service and assist with food delivery as needed.

  • Keep service stations organized, stocked, and ready for service.

  • Communicate guest needs promptly and thoughtfully to the team.

  • Help maintain a clean, inviting dining room and uphold our standards of hospitality.

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous restaurant experience, ideally in a high-volume or fine-dining environment.

  • A warm, professional demeanor and genuine interest in hospitality.

  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to anticipate guests’ and teammates’ needs.

  • Clear communication, reliability, and a collaborative approach.

  • The ability to stay organized and composed during busy service.

  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

  • Ability to perform the physical duties of the role, with reasonable accommodation.
