We are currently looking to hire a detail-oriented Industrial Electrician for one of our industrial manufacturing clients in DFW. This role involves installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining a variety of electrical and manufacturing equipment.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  • Install and maintain circuits, control systems, and electrical apparatus.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical components in manufacturing equipment.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on switch gear, transformers, and power distribution systems.
  • Maintain fire protection system electrical components.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and environmental regulations.
  • Collaborate with EHS for world-class health and safety standards.

 

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Certified Industrial Electrician Program completion or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of five (5) years in Industrial Electrical-Instrumentation repair and maintenance.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills in electrical controls, schematics, and mechanical drawings.
  • Knowledge of uninterruptible power sources, generators, switchgear, and VFDs.
  • Familiarity with building codes and safety regulations (Life Safety, IBC, NFPA, NEC, OSHA).
  • Proficient in process safety and use of electrical PPE.

 

DESIRED QUALITIES:

  • 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with medium and high voltage equipment.
  • Knowledge of arc flash hazards.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
