STARR Restaurants is seeking a Beverage Manager to join The Pelican Club, Stephen Starr’s highly anticipated new Greek restaurant coming to Philadelphia’s iconic Rittenhouse Square.

Inspired by the glamour and energy of the Greek islands during the jet-set Onassis era, The Pelican Club will pair authentic Greek cooking and Mediterranean flavors with the transportive design, lively atmosphere, and exceptional hospitality synonymous with STARR Restaurants. Set in a nearly 9,000-square-foot space overlooking Rittenhouse Square, and designed by Ken Fulk, The Pelican Club will join some of Philadelphia’s most celebrated restaurants in one of the city’s premier dining destinations.

We are in search of a dynamic Beverage Manager who is excited to be part of a large, passionate, cohesive team providing genuine hospitality to create memorable dining experiences.

Desired Qualifications: 

• 2+ years of experience overseeing an evolving beverage program at a reputable restaurant
• Strong leadership and strategic management skills
• Ability to drive performance and success of a diverse hourly staff
• Basic PC knowledge and comprehension (Word, Excel, scheduling software, Open Table, Applicant Tracking /Onboarding HR systems)
• A strong understanding of wine varietals and craft cocktails
