We are seeking a Production Trainee to learn the operation of automated and semi-automated wire mesh welding machines. This is an entry-level opportunity with training provided and potential advancement to Welding Machine Operator.
Responsibilities:
- Load wire coils, rods, and materials into welding machines.
- Learn to operate and monitor resistance welding equipment.
- Assist with machine setup and changeovers.
- Inspect finished products for weld quality and proper dimensions.
- Stack, bundle, tag, and prepare finished products.
- Perform basic machine cleaning and preventive maintenance.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- Forklift certification required
- No previous welding experience required
- Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. repeatedly
- Comfortable working around heat, noise, and industrial machinery
- Reliable attendance and strong attention to safety
- Available for overtime or weekends as needed
