Location: Dyersville, IA
Shift: Average 3 shifts per month; 24-hour shifts 7:00 AM-7:00 AM; occasional 12-hour shifts
Position Details: Critical Access Hospital coverage; average 4 ED patients/day and 4 inpatients/day; in-house coverage with provider sleep room available; inpatient responsibilities required
Patient Population: Emergency Department and Inpatient
Setting: Critical Access Hospital
Responsibilities: Emergency medicine coverage; inpatient care for observation, acute, and swing-bed patients
Required Procedures: Emergency Medicine Procedures
EMR System: TogetherCare (EPIC)
Support Staff: 4 APPs; 2 RNs; 1 CNA
Days Per Month: Average 3 shifts per month
On-Call/Weekends: In-house coverage; weekends as needed
Submission Requirements:
- Board Certified ABEM or FP/IM
- Active Iowa License
- NPDB Self-Query within 30 days
