About the Role

The Company is seeking an Executive Director of Financial Aid to provide strategic leadership and oversight of all student financial aid programs. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the effective delivery of federal, state, institutional, and private financial aid while supporting the company's enrollment, retention, and student success objectives. This role requires a deep knowledge of financial aid programs, compliance frameworks, and industry best practices, as well as the ability to lead large, complex functions and influence institutional direction. The Executive Director will also be tasked with maintaining compliance with all applicable regulations, driving innovation within financial aid operations, and championing a culture of service excellence and accountability. Candidates for the Executive Director position must have a Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) in a related discipline and significant progressive leadership experience in financial aid or a related field within higher education. The role demands a proven track record in leading large teams, managing complex operations, and driving strategic initiatives. Essential skills include exceptional stakeholder management, executive communication, and the ability to translate data insights into strategic actions. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Veterans Educational Benefits and Federal Financial Aid regulations, as well as the ability to work autonomously and manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment. Proficiency in CRM platforms and the Microsoft Office Suite is required, and experience with cloud-based systems is a plus.
