PediCare Nursing Agency is hiring compassionate and skilled Registered Nurses (RNs) to provide one-on-one private duty nursing care for a pediatric patient in Shubuta, MS.
We currently have night shifts available at $35/hour. This is a great opportunity for an RN with trach and ventilator experience—or a nurse interested in expanding their pediatric home-care experience—while providing focused, one-on-one care.

8:00 PM–6:00 AM - Monday-Thursday nights available with flexible scheduling

ABOUT THE CASE
Provide one-on-one skilled nursing care for a pediatric patient in the comfort of their home.
Clinical needs include:
Tracheostomy care
Home ventilator management and monitoring
Respiratory assessment, airway management, suctioning and other ordered respiratory interventions
G-tube feedings and care
Medication administration
Ongoing nursing assessment and monitoring
Assistance with activities of daily living and age-appropriate care
The assigned nurse will provide one-on-one care throughout the shift, allowing for focused assessment, skilled intervention, and support of the patient and family.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide safe, skilled, and compassionate nursing care according to the physician's plan of care
Perform ongoing respiratory and nursing assessments and monitor for changes in patient condition
Provide tracheostomy care, suctioning, and airway management
Monitor and manage home ventilator support according to physician orders and the plan of care
Administer G-tube feedings, medications, treatments, and other ordered interventions
Assist with activities of daily living and age-appropriate care
Maintain accurate and timely nursing documentation
Communicate changes or concerns appropriately with the clinical team
Educate and support the patient's family regarding home-care needs
REQUIREMENTS
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Mississippi
Current BLS certification
Current TB screening within the past 12 months
Ability to meet all required state background screening requirements
Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience
Pediatric, private duty, tracheostomy, ventilator, or respiratory-care experience is a plus
