Description:

Job Summary

Entry-level Test Technician role responsible for setting up test equipment, testing production assemblies, troubleshooting routine issues, documenting test results, and supporting manufacturing and quality activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up test apparatus and perform tests on production assemblies and units.
• Follow established testing methods, procedures, standards, and sequences.
• Assemble production equipment according to designs and specifications.
• Adjust and calibrate systems as required.
• Modify equipment/components using diagrams, sketches, and defined plans.
• Troubleshoot routine malfunctions by adjusting or replacing components as directed.
• Use hand tools, small power tools, measuring devices, and test instruments.
• Test and troubleshoot electronic and mechanical components, equipment, and systems.
• Read and follow schematics, diagrams, written instructions, and procedures.
• Gather, maintain, and document technical data and test results.
• Perform basic mathematical calculations using established formulas.
• Monitor and verify quality according to established control procedures.
• Review technical information and make minor changes when required.
• Communicate technical information within the immediate work area.
• Support activities related to production, operations, maintenance, safety, testing, process improvement, and product development.

Required Qualifications

• 0 years of experience required — entry-level candidates are welcome.
• No college education required.
• Basic knowledge of systems, procedures, and laboratory techniques.
• Ability to use standard test instruments.
• Ability to follow established work routines, standards, and procedures.
• Comfortable working under close supervision while performing routine technical tasks.
