We are looking for Electricians to work in and around the D.C. MARYLAND OR VIRGINIA . We offer great pay, benefits, long-term steady work and a number of Bonus opportunities!
UNLICENSED JOURNEYMAN $35HR $1OO PER DIEM
LICENSED JOURNEYMAN $37 $100 PER DIEM
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Accurately install conduit – This is the primary skillset for this job!
- Read and follow blueprints during construction process.
- Measure, bend, cut, thread, ream, assemble, and install rigid and EMT conduit.
- Must have experience with hydraulic benders, (i.e., able to run bigger sizes of conduit)
- Must have experience with the installation and termination of panels, switchgear, transfer switches, transformers, etc.
- Must be able to correctly setup and pull wire based on blueprints.
- Must be able to install all devices, light fixtures.
- Must be able to troubleshoot and fix problems as they arise.
- Follow state and local building regulations based on the National Electric Code during installation process.
- Fire alarm, exit sign experience
Experience:
- At least 3+ years of related commercial experience.
- Understand blueprints or technical diagrams to determine location of circuits, outlets and other equipment.
- Proficient in layout and installation.
Requirements:
- Have reliable transportation to and from the worksite.
- Have tools of the trades.
