Position: General Laborer (Fab Shop)
Schedule: Day Shift (Monday- Friday 6a-4:45p + Saturday 6a-12p)
Summary of Position
A General Laborer provides hands-on support across the fab shop, assisting Welders and Fitters. The role focuses on shop organization, material movement, basic preparation, and supporting production flow in a high‑precision environment.
Essential Functions
Daily roles include collaborating in a team-oriented environment with cross functional workers.
- Assist in the movement of materials or equipment within facility.
- Grind and deburr weldments.
- Clean up work areas from hazardous or obsolete material.
- Use power tools and machinery as needed.
- Assist Fitters with set up.
- Follow and maintain all safety protocols and housekeeping requirements
- Achieve quality and production goals
- Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance
- Follow OSHA safety guidelines, and ITAR compliance
- Other duties as assigned
Required Knowledge, Skills and Competencies
- Ability to work with and without supervision.
- Personal effectiveness/credibility.
- Clear and consistent communication with team.
- High School Diploma or recognized equivalent.
