Verse Restaurant is looking for a reliable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Prep Cook to join our kitchen team!
We are looking for someone who is passionate about food, organized, takes pride in their work, and thrives in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Responsibilities:
● Prepare and portion ingredients according to recipes and kitchen standards.
● Wash, cut, chop, and organize ingredients for daily service.
● Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work station.
● Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
● Assist chefs and kitchen staff with daily prep needs.
● Help with inventory, labeling, and proper food storage.
● Work efficiently as part of a team.
Qualifications:
● Previous kitchen or prep cook experience preferred, but willing to train the right person.
● Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
● Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills.
● Reliable, punctual, and dependable.
● Ability to communicate and work well with others.
● Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus!
