About this position

Womble Bond Dickinson (US) LLP is currently seeking a Counsel track attorney to join the Business Litigation Practice Group in the New York office.

Qualifications:

  • Ideal candidates will have 3+ years of experience representing companies and/or financial institutions regarding single plaintiff litigation.
  • Strong preference for candidates with experience handling litigation involving consumer loans of all types, including contracts, loan agreements/modifications, wrongful foreclosure and other mortgage related litigation.
  • Strong preference for experience appearing in state and federal courts in New York.
  • Candidates must have an excellent understanding of civil procedure, experience in taking and defending depositions, and drafting pleadings.
  • Candidates must be licensed in New York, Massachusetts, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania licenses are a plus.
  • Candidates must have excellent academic credentials and outstanding written and oral communication skills.

Compensation:

  • The estimated salary range for this role in New York is $235,000-$290,000 a year.
