Now Hiring: Commercial HVAC Service Technicians (Levels I, II & III)

Multiple experience levels

We are looking for experienced and entry-level Commercial HVAC Service Technicians to join a growing mechanical service team. Whether you're starting your HVAC career or have years of experience troubleshooting complex commercial systems, we have opportunities for technicians at all levels.

This position involves servicing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing commercial HVAC equipment, with opportunities for experienced technicians to take on leadership and mentoring responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC systems and equipment.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on large and small commercial HVAC units.
  • Service and troubleshoot electrical components, controls, thermostats, switches, and related equipment.
  • Work with chilled water systems, boilers, chillers, hydronic systems, and other mechanical equipment.
  • Read and interpret mechanical drawings, wiring diagrams, and equipment schematics.
  • Identify equipment issues and recommend appropriate repairs.
  • Maintain accurate service records and communicate effectively with customers and team members.
  • Follow established safety procedures, including lockout/tagout requirements.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation, with occasional nights, weekends, and travel as needed.

Experience Levels

HVAC Technician I – Entry Level

0–2 years of experience. Ideal for someone beginning their commercial HVAC career with a solid understanding of mechanical systems and a willingness to learn.

HVAC Technician II – Experienced

2–5 years of experience performing commercial HVAC service, maintenance, and troubleshooting. Must be comfortable working independently on commercial equipment, electrical components, and HVAC controls.

HVAC Technician III – Senior Level

5–7+ years of commercial HVAC experience with advanced troubleshooting capabilities. Strong knowledge of chillers, boilers, hydronic systems, DDC controls, and building management systems (BMS). This position will also provide technical guidance and training to other technicians.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required; technical degree preferred.
  • Commercial HVAC service and maintenance experience appropriate to the position level.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to read schematics and understand HVAC control systems.
  • Knowledge of refrigerant recovery procedures and HVAC safety standards.
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
  • Texas TDLR Technician Certification and EPA Type I and II Certification required.
  • Strong communication skills and a customer-service mindset.
