- Performs pipe welding using MIG, TIG and Flux processes as required.
- Reads and interprets blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols.
- Fabricates, assembles, and repairs metal structures and components.
- Sets up welding machines based on job requirements (materials, thickness, position).
- Inspects welds for accuracy, quality, and compliance with specifications.
- Uses grinders, cutting torches, saws, and other fabrication tools.
- Performs layout, fitting, and measuring to prepare materials for welding.
- Follows safety procedures, including PPE use, hot‐work protocols, and equipment inspections.
- Maintains welding equipment and reports needed repairs.
- Works with supervisors and team members to meet production deadlines.
- Completes required documentation such as weld logs, inspection forms, or work orders.
- Follows strict safety protocols, including wearing protective gear and adhering to OSHA regulations.
