Key Responsibilities
As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, you will play a crucial role in transforming client lives through various therapeutic interventions. Your day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Conducting comprehensive psychosocial assessments to understand clients' mental health challenges, strengths, and available resources, facilitating a tailored approach to treatment.
- Providing individual, family, and group therapy using well-researched evidence-based treatment modalities.
- Implementing therapies such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and trauma-informed care strategies to assist clients in their healing process.
- Developing and executing individualized treatment plans based on thorough assessments, setting realistic goals and clear interventions for clients.
- Collaborating with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for each client.
- Participating actively in treatment team meetings to contribute to client-centered treatment plans.
- Offering crisis intervention, risk assessment, and safety planning when required, maintaining a proactive approach to client safety.
- Facilitating group therapy sessions, psychoeducation classes, and support groups to provide a holistic therapeutic experience.
- Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of client interactions and treatment plans, in compliance with ethical and legal standards.

You will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals facing mental health challenges, couples experiencing relationship difficulties, and families seeking support during various life transitions. Qualifications
To thrive in this position, candidates must possess:
- A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.
- Active state licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
- Strong knowledge of evidence-based treatment modalities and therapeutic approaches.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and assessment skills, allowing for effective collaboration and support for clients.
Preferred Experience
While not mandatory, the ideal candidate will have:
- Two years of experience in a mental health or outpatient setting, enhancing the ability to manage diverse client needs effectively.
