FORKLIFT OPERATOR – 2ND SHIFT – CHARLOTTE, NC
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Unload and properly store pallets from shuttle trailers
- Load outbound trailers according to load sheets/BOLs
- Perform pre- and post-trip forklift inspections
- Operate a quad-fork forklift
- Use RF scanners to pull orders
- Rotate products using FIFO procedures
- Stack and rotate pallets according to warehouse guidelines
- Inspect outbound trailers
- Complete required paperwork and load documentation
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Communicate effectively with production, warehouse, and shuttle departments
- Follow all company safety procedures
REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous forklift experience
- Quad-fork forklift experience strongly preferred
- Forklift certification/experience
- Experience loading and unloading trailers
- RF scanner experience
- Previous manufacturing or warehouse experience
- Beverage plant experience is a PLUS!
- Basic computer skills
- Must be able to understand, speak, and read English
- Ability to work independently
- Must be comfortable working indoors and outdoors in heat, cold, or rain
- Flexibility to work weekends/holidays when required
- Dependable transportation and strong attendance
