RESIDENTIAL ELECTRICIAN – DIRECT HIRE

ORR Construction Company is seeking an experienced Residential Electrician to join our team. We are looking for a dependable, knowledgeable electrician who can perform residential electrical work from rough-in through finish on new construction, additions, remodels, and ADU projects.
PAY: $35–$55 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications
POSITION: Full-Time | Direct Hire
WORK AREA: Orange County & Los Angeles County
Responsibilities
- Perform residential electrical installations, repairs, and modifications
- Perform electrical rough-in and finish work
- Install and connect panels, breakers, outlets, switches, lighting, and fixtures
- Install residential branch circuits and wiring
- Work on new construction, remodels, additions, and ADUs
- Read and interpret electrical plans and construction drawings
- Coordinate electrical work with framing, plumbing, HVAC, and other trades
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and identify potential problems
- Follow applicable California electrical codes and project specifications
- Coordinate inspections and correct inspection-related items as needed
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Communicate project status and material needs to the project manager/superintendent
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of residential electrical experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of residential electrical systems
- Ability to read electrical plans
- Experience with residential new construction and remodeling
- Knowledge of California electrical code requirements
- Ability to work independently and complete assigned work on schedule
- Reliable transportation
- Dependable attendance and professional attitude
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
Journeyman-level residential electricians and experienced lead electricians are encouraged to apply.
