About the Role
The Company is seeking an Assistant Vice President to join its Fund Finance Private Equity team, with a focus on Private Capital Fund Accounting and Administration. The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of duties, including working with third-party administrators to ensure timely and accurate quarterly valuations, general ledger entries, and compliance with fair value market principles. This role also involves reviewing fund expenses, accruals, and investor allocations, as well as approving various financial calculations and statements. The individual will be expected to monitor the fund's compliance with partnership operating agreements, handle ad hoc requests, and reconcile accounting data between the company and third-party administrators. Applicants for the Assistant Vice President position should have a Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, with 6-10+ years' of experience in financial services or asset management accounting and operations. A background in alternative investments fund administration and operations is a plus. The role requires a candidate with a passion for innovative technology, the ability to multi-task, and a proven track record of working both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills, a high level of integrity, and a willingness to learn in an evolving business environment are essential. The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and capable of maintaining a big-picture perspective. An advanced degree or progress towards professional credentials such as an MBA, CPA, CFA, or CAIA is also a plus.
