Job Type: Full-time, heavy travel
Pay: $22.00-$28.00 per hour
· Paid overtime at 1.5 times hourly rate
· Paid travel expenses and daily per diem
We are looking for experienced commercial/industrial electricians and mechanics/millwrights to complete installation of material handling conveyor systems across the United States. Ideal candidates will be solution minded, eager to learn, and team players.
Job Duties:
- Install material handling system parts using forklift, Genie lifts, and power tools and following drawings
- Complete systems electrically including running and bending conduit, pulling wire, mount and terminate devices including photo eyes, emergency stops stations, buttons, switches, scanners, and cameras per schematics
- Accurately label devices, wires, and components
- Assist engineer with commissioning of system
Requirements:
- Willing to travel 85% of the time, 2-6 weeks at a time
- Commercial/industrial electrical experience including ability to read schematics, bend conduit (under 2”), pull wire, complete terminations, wire devices: 3+ years
- Mechanical experience related to conveyor, machinery, material handling systems including ability to read drawings, use a tape measure and other basic hand and power tools, do heavy lifting: 2+ years
- Able to use basic hand and power tools
- Able to lift heavy objects (35+ lbs), be on your feet 8+ hours per day
- Reliable, adaptable, and flexible
