A Welder is responsible for joining metal parts using various welding techniques. This role involves interpreting blueprints, preparing materials, and ensuring quality and safety standards are met during the welding process.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints and specifications
- Set up and operate welding equipment safely and efficiently
- Prepare metals for welding by cleaning and cutting
- Join metal parts with precision and accuracy
- Inspect welds for defects and perform necessary repairs
- Maintain welding equipment and work areas
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years of welding experience
