Commercial Electrician – Lift Station Projects
Location: Tampa, FL
Pay: $26–$32 per hour, depending on experience
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:45 AM – 4:00 PM
Start Date: November 9, 2026
Job Type: Temp to Hire
Expected Duration: 6+ Months
Tradeco Construction Staffing is seeking an experienced Commercial Electrician for a long-term project involving lift station and underground utility electrical installations in the Tampa area.
We are looking for a well-rounded electrician who is comfortable with commercial and industrial electrical work, including conduit installation, wiring, electrical panels, pumps, and motor controls.
Job Responsibilities
- Install and run EMT, rigid conduit (RMC), PVC, and underground electrical raceways.
- Bend conduit, pull wire, and perform electrical terminations.
- Install electrical panels, disconnects, junction boxes, and control equipment.
- Assist with wiring and installation of pumps, motors, and related equipment.
- Work with motor control centers (MCCs), variable frequency drives (VFDs), and control panels.
- Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Perform grounding and bonding.
- Follow NEC requirements and jobsite safety procedures.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of commercial or industrial electrical experience preferred.
- Experience with lift stations, pump stations, wastewater facilities, or municipal utility projects is a plus.
- Strong conduit bending, wire-pulling, and installation skills.
- Ability to read electrical drawings and work independently.
- Familiarity with three-phase electrical systems.
- Must have reliable transportation and basic hand tools.
- Comfortable working outdoors and around active construction equipment.
