Forklift Operator (Crown Experience Required)
Abacus Staffing is seeking skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operators to join our team in West Jefferson, OH. This role involves operating forklifts and other equipment to efficiently move, load, and unload materials while maintaining a safe work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts, reach trucks, clamp trucks, and cranes
- Load and unload materials safely and efficiently
- Use RF scanners for inventory tracking
- Conduct equipment inspections and follow OSHA standards
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Support team operations and assist with training new operators
Requirements:
- Reach truck experience (Crown preferred)
- Cherry picker experience (Crown preferred)
- Previous forklift or related experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Familiarity with RF scanners and material handling
- Forklift certification preferred
- Ability to read and speak English
Shifts & Pay:
- 1st Shift: TUE- SAT 6:00 AM – 3:30 PM | $21.36/hr
- 2nd Shift: MON- FRI- 4:00 PM – 1:30 AM | $21.86/hr
