Welder – $20-$25/hr
Gillmann Services is hiring Welders for a manufacturing facility in Sebree, KY.
We are looking for experienced welders who can pass a vertical flux core weld test. The work includes welding stainless steel and aluminum to build water tanks, water towers, silos, hoppers, and other large industrial equipment.
Pay & Schedule
- $20-$25/hr
- Monday-Thursday, 6:00 AM-4:30 PM
- 40+ hours per week
- Friday work is likely
Responsibilities
- Read and understand blueprints, sketches, and technical specifications
- Weld using GMAW, FCAW, and SMAW processes
- Weld in multiple positions, including vertical
- Work with stainless steel and aluminum
- Inspect materials before and after welding
- Perform final inspections of completed welds
- Use basic math to calculate dimensions and weights
- Operate an oxy/acetylene torch
- Grind and gouge metal when needed
- Follow all safety and quality requirements
Requirements
- Welding experience required
- Must be able to pass a vertical flux core weld test
- Experience with stainless steel and aluminum preferred
- Ability to read blueprints and measurements
- Ability to work extended periods standing, grinding, and welding
- Reliable and safety-focused
