About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Medical Affairs (VPMA) to serve as a key physician leader in advancing the organization's mission, vision, and values. The VPMA will be responsible for ensuring clinical excellence, operational efficiency, and a superior patient experience within their designated sub-region/market. This role involves strategic and operational leadership in physician engagement, quality improvement, patient safety, and recruitment, with a focus on aligning regional performance with system-wide goals. The successful candidate will collaborate with the Chief Physician, Market President, Chief Medical Officer, and other leaders to drive the transformation of the healthcare experience and provide access to world-class healthcare. Candidates for the VPMA position must hold an MD or DO degree, with board certification required and primary care specialty certification preferred. While not mandatory, rural experience is also preferred. The role demands a leader who can effectively integrate with the existing healthcare system, and who is dedicated to the values of the organization. The VPMA will play a critical role in the company's commitment to shaping the future of rural healthcare and must be prepared to lead in a dynamic and innovative environment.
